How much traffic a PR4 site should get?

I have a PR4 site but the amount of traffic I get through search engines is below my expectations soset my expectations right, I want to know what is the right traffic range for PR4 site? Do we have any such guidelines/experiences available or Page Rank and traffic are not related?

      Your PR4 doesn't mean your gona get alot of traffic, that has nothing to do with the amount of traffic you get. It all depends on what keyword you are targeting.

    I know several people who buy old domains with high PR already thinking they are going to get a lot of traffic from the serp's, but quickly learn it's more complicated than just having a site with good PR.

      As said before it is a lot more complicated then that. If you have a 1 page site targeting a keyword that gets 2 searches a month you can have a PR 8 if you want and the search engines will never send you more then 2 visitors a month.

      Also all things being equal the more pages a site has the more potential it has to get traffic. A PR 3 site with 100 pages will probably get more traffic then a PR 5 site with 10 pages. (unless you managed to get a really competative keyword rank).

      So there is no real range to expect here. If you have a PR 4 site it should get somewhere between a lot and a little traffic.

    One of my sites has increased in rank from 4 to 5 but the traffic has decreased.

    PR is simply adds strength too the ranking of your key words. It does not give traffic itself.
