Hi warriors I hope to get your feed back on this as I don't want to waste my time doing this if it has no positive affect on my serps.

I think I may have read something like this somewhere here but can not find from the search function. So will ask anyhow.

If I have a site www.mysite.com and submit some articles to the top directories with links back to mysite.com and some inner pages.
What if I then make some screen capture videos with PowerPoint presentations of those articles, then submit those videos to the top video sharing sites and bookmark those videos using the best bookmaking sites like digg etc...

Mix this up a bit by chopping things around like, do some more videos and articles but in the articles you will be linking back to the videos which of course link back to mysite.com and the inner pages. Not forgetting to bookmark the articles as well.

Then make some forum profiles and using all of the above mixture of links link to these profiles and of course mix things up a bit .

Would this help to boost the links that link back to mysite.com and the inner pages?

Or do I just build backlinks that only point back to mysite.com and there inner pages?

Yes, backlinking your backlinks will boost your SERPS because those backlinks will carry more weight. The question is to which extent, is it worth the effort? I am not sure about that.

There is some thought that backlinking your backlinks helps to protect your money site as well.

Let's say you have 50 articles pointing to your acnecure.com site. If you support your articles with lots of backlinks, the links from those articles become more valuable.

And let's say you run afoul of Google in your linking to three of those articles and for some reason, those articles lose position or get deindexed. You still have 47 powerful articles linking to your money site.

So if it does increase your Serps then surely its worth the effort? I don't think its anymore effort to build links to your links than it is just to build links to your site. Just that when you use the yahoo site explorer it will not show as many links. For some reason i like the idea so i may give it a go for a month or so to see what happens, if anything?

You're right, if it boosts SERPS, it's worth the effort. The question is would you boost your SERPS more if you used that time to build links directly to your site. ??? Combination of both could maybe get best results if smartly executed.

Cheers fenix34 for your feed back on this, i think thats what i will do starting tonight. This backlinking game is a bit crazy. There is so many people giving their advice, Which is amazing of course but at the same time confusing. I know that no one but the big G knows for sure which links have more of an impact with a sites SERPS so i guess its test test and more testing for me.

The answer is yes, but also make sure that your back links are relevant to what you are linking to.

The simple answer is yes... And by reading what you posted above, you have a huge head start on a lot of people entering the backlink building field towards SEO of their site.

I personally build my backlinks and my clients backlinks all by way of article marketing. By far this tactic is one of the most powerful ways to build backlinks. Not only do you get traffic to your site, but that traffic is organic.

You also climb the SERPs too.

A combination of both seems like the best option here. Build regular backlinks to your site and build quality "beefed up" backlinks to your site. This will make it look more natural as you have regular links and high PR links pointing to you.

gurucreation and Shaunman, thank you for your comments. So I may be going down the right track then, cool. Shaunman I like your "beefed up" backlinks quote I’m going to use that as a way of tracking these "beefed up" backlinks using Google alerts.

Last night I registered to 25 or so video sharing sites and submitted two articles to EZA with more coming, will wait for approval from them before i submit to the other directories. Then onto video creation.

I use web 2.0 sites to build content as well as articles and blogs. I then social bookmark to these and link them to each other. Sites like Squidoo are easy to build PR and then that passes to my site.

Undoubtebly, yes... What I do is find a dofollow blog with some PR and comment using the backlink url. Often times, it pushes some PR to this link which in turn adds good juice to the link.

For those that use article marketing. This is a little trick I used with uniquearticlewizard. After a month of submitting article, Inside UA, i got to yahoo search to see how many places the article is in.

I take that list, clean it up a little and create a rss feed using rss2html.com
I then take that rss feed and push it into 109 rss aggregators using howards pinger service, but you could actually use almost any aggregator software.

End result, 3 way backlinks to the actual backlinks and 4 way backlinks to the actual site.

Yahoo and Bing don't have a clue what to do with this, if they can see it at all.
But for Google, it can sometimes bring results in 24-48 hours.

Just make sure that the online factors on the page ( old fashion i know ) are 90% correct. Use keywords in H1, h2 and h3 tags along with alt tags and several links on page with keyword.

Its my belief that onpage factors get multiplied by ( not added to ) external linking factors so start the seo in the right place.

    Just my two cents.
