Hello dear warriors,

I`m a newbie here and looking for help from all of you to give me a picture for what I`m planning to do. I`m sure all of you know PPC much better than me. So I would like to ask several questions. I think it will be very useful for any newbie like me.

I think of try to do blogging. I know that quality fresh content is the most important ingredient for blog. I know some ways of monetize blog, which use adsense as 1 of the alternative. So I would like to know :

1. Can I use Google Adwords ( with low CPC keyword ) and promote my blog which I monetize with Google Adsense ( with high paying keyword ). Is it against Google TOS ?

2. What if I use Google Adsense with Clickbank ads and Adbrite ads combined ? Is it against Google TOS ?

3. What PPV network that will cost me the lowest price for a keyword and what PPV network that will cost me the highest paid for that keyword ?

4. I plan to buy traffic from PPV network such as $1 for 10,000 impression which I will put the ads from other PPV network or maybe the same PPV network so that I can get mass instant traffic with the lowest budget. Can anyone tell me what PPV network I should use ?

I think this is the PPC & PPV arbitrage method that I want to combine so I can buy traffic much cheaper. Hope anyone can give the detail of how much cost and how much I will be paid for each PPC & PPV networks.

If this technique is blackhat method, then I won`t try it. So, please tell me in case this method is blackhat. TQ very much for the help.

    1) I am pretty sure that Google will catch up sooner or later - arbitrage is very old and i would be surprised if Google allows this for some time - eg. get a $0.02 click and make a multitude of this back via AdSense. No way they would tolerate this...

    2) Is Adbrite contextual? Eg. changing ads depending on your content? Then you cant use it with AdSense since you cannot use other contextual ads w/ Adsense.

Well, thanks for your reply GeorgR. In case I can`t use Adbrite along with Google Adsense, then do you have any suggestion what should I do ? Can I just use like Adbrite to buy traffic and put Google Adsense at my site ?

If Google doesn`t allow the arbitrage between Adwords and Adsense, is it only for the same person account ? If other person use his Adwords account and promote my site, and my site use Adsense, what will happen with that ?

I hope I can get the answer for these 2 questions. TQ very much.

      Hi rome200379,

Yes you can place Adbrite ads on the same page as AdSense ads, provided you follow their policies which states:

      Competitive Ads and Services
In order to prevent user confusion, publishers may not display Google ads or search boxes on websites that also contain other ads or services formatted to use the same layout and colours as the Google ads or search boxes on that site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure that these ads cannot be confused with Google ads.

Just make sure they are distinctly different in appearance and separated so they cannot be confused with AdSense ads.

Also, you can use AdWords to promote your website, even if it has AdSense ads, you just need to make sure that it meets all of the AdWords policies and terms. In other words, your website needs to offer added value beyond the AdSense ads and a little bit of text. What your ad promises must be on your website, not something they must click an ad to get to (i.e. bridge page).

Thanks for the reply mate !!! Can you give me favour what is the best PPC or PPV arbitrage that I can use for my blog ? My blog is dominated by words and almost no picture at all with online business topic.

I`m looking for the easiest way to get fastest, cheap, very targeted traffic for my blog. I still not monetized my blog at all. I`m confuse with what kind of monetize method that I can use.

Then I think of PPC and / or PPV arbitrage such as place Google Adsense & Adbrite so that I can get money whenever my blog got impression or click. So no matter what kind of attitude my traffic, I still got money.

The problem is I don`t know what PPC or PPV that I should use to get the traffic to my blog. I just think of using Adbrite to buy the traffic, and use both Adbrite & Adsense to monetize it. Can I do this ?

If you can, how many Adbrite usually cost you per 10,000 visitor ? And how many Adbrite will pay if your site monetize it with Adbrite itself ? If I can get at least 50% the cost of buying traffic from Adbrite when I monetized my site with Adbrite, I will be happy to use that method.

Hope that you can answer my question. I think it will be a good way to get fastest traffic with targeted and cheap also.

P.S. If anyone can give other PPC that can be used to get the balance of Adbrite ( means whatever price I spend with Adbrite will got the same money with this PPC if I use it to monetize my site ), then it will be very great. Thanks in advance for anyone can help me !!!

          Hi rome200379,

While it might be possible to successfully arbitrage your traffic, It is more likely that you will spend more money than you make.

If you've got a great website, you still need to promote it. PPC advertising is a great way to get a lot of targeted traffic to a new website. Recouping some of that cost by selling ad space allows you stretch your budget to get a lot more exposure for your website. This would be a valid reason to do PPC, while arbitrage is much less viable.

Additionally, your website has to offer value beyond the ads or you will be in violation of Google's TOS.

Google frowns on arbitrage and doing AdWords to just drive traffic to a generic blog is a bad idea.

AdWords is best used to sell products/services & capture contacts to build your list. AdWords is very specific about what sort of website they will allow to be listed (privacy policy, relevant content, sparing use of affiliate links) - spend some time reading around the various AdWords FAQs on the 'Net before playing around with it.

It's very easy to get "slapped" and have your account lost for good by doing this that Google doesn't approve of.

The content network is a little less restrictive but again - arbitrage methods are tough. Especially for newbies. I can think of a few that I don't think Google could catch you doing but they're definitely "black hat".

Kaya'-nya gak bisa, mas. Soalnya sama2 PPC.
I myself still look for other PPC alternative for my auto generated content blogs.
But for SE friendly developed blogs, I think adsense is still the best.
    Have an idea, mas ?

Using Google adwords to promote a blog to get people to click on other google ads is fundamentally flawed in the sense that not even a fraction of the people who visit your blog ever click on the Google Adwords. I have a blog that got 12,700 visitors in a week and only 10 people clicked on ads. If i had used PPC to buy traffic at even just .2 cents per click i would have paid $254 and would only have made $16 back. Doesnt sound like a sound investment to me lol. You need to focus on using free ways to generate traffic to your blog. I used Twitter marketing software to get my traffic and it was keyword targeted so it was very good quality but i still had terrible click rates to my ads.

Answer to #1 - Not allowed. That's termed "arbitrage".
