Static Sites v. dynamic sites and SEO

Hi,
is that true that Static sites have better indexing? so that means better seo than dynamic sites ?

what would be the benefits of a static site?

    Generally speaking, no. And a dynamic site can be built to look and operate static. Whether dynamic or static, the problems come when elements of SEO are missing.

    I don't think so. WordPress and Other CMS's are as good as static sites, if not better, in terms of seo.

      i think static or dynamic page has no different for SEO. The different is only one : static page more easier to implement ONpage SEO rather than dynamic page that used database.

      For example static page : domain.com/your-keyword.html do not need such as .htaccess or search engine friendly script but dynamic page should create .htaccess and create search engine firendly script for that page because the content is in database (not directly in page)

    Even Google has mentioned in the Webmaster tools that static websites are always preferable as they are search engine friendly and easy to crawl.
