backlinks for each domain - new user?

This might be a stupid question but some of the posts I have read imply that when someone starts to promote their new domain they create a new user on all the back linking and article websites.

Is this true or do most people use the same account on each of these sites for their promotion?

I understand that on forums etc they would make a new user so they can avail of the signature but for the likes of digg etc. I can't see the advantage.

Thanks

You don't have to create new accounts. No SEO benefit in that. The only real benefit of creating new accounts for each site would be to make it harder for other marketers to find all of your sites and niches.

Just use one account unless you have a good reason to use more than one. I have enough trouble keeping tabs on my various accounts without having more than one at each site!

That's what I thought, I'm already finding it confusing and I've only started subscribing to the over the past couple of days!

So when I read about automatic scripts to submit to these sites etc. I assume you have to do the leg work and subscribe to everything before hand?

Another question, slightly off this topic. People submitting to multiple article directories, do they submit the same article or do they have to write different content for each site?

I know that most people write multiple articles, I just mean can the same one but submitted to more than one place.

      Cheers

You can submit the same to multiple directories. Many people don't do it because of the duplicate content penalty, but there is not such thing.

Having one account is always more advantageous tthan multiple accounts. You will be more organized and can keep updated on your niches and sites sales.

If you have more no of sites with different niches, then having single account will be a bit harder to organize..
