Social Bookmarking - Should I only do it on DoFollow sites?

Need some help here from someone who really knows their stuff. First, I know that G does usually count your backlinks from nofollow sites. That said, in terms of SEO and rankings (I don't care about or expect to get any targeted traffic from social sites), should I spend my time hitting ALL the social sites or should I just focus on the ones that are dofollow? Thanks.

Focus on dofollow. Google may catch nofollow links but it doesn't think twice about them. nofollow means they don't count simple as that. The only reason to go after nofollow links is for the direct traffic and if you don't care about that why do it?

Nofollow backlink won't help your SEO effort especially for Google..Yes. I agree.try to get free back link from dofollow social bookmarking, dofollow blog or dofollow forum..Best Regards..

for me, I would try to target popular social bookmarking, it is not only to get backlink but also the authority we may get.

Try to collect dofollow links try to comment dofollow blogs & Dofollow social bookmarks.

Nofollow links only counting a free backlinks.

Dofollow links is very helpful for site traffic.
