Content Network Question

Is there a more reliable way to locate sites that accept content network ads? I've been using the Google Tool, and to be honest, it's pretty terrible. By manually surfing the web, I've located over 40 other sites that were perfectly (And better) matched to the keyword I searched for within Google, and they were running ads.

However, manually searching is quite time consuming. Any quicker methods you might be aware of? Thanks as always!

For best conversions it is always best to manually search google for sites that ranks based on the keyword you're targeting.

Thank you. Yes, I did try this. But it took a huge amount of time, and I was going for volume. After messing with the Content Network though, I have to say the traffic is garbage. When I say garbage, I mean absolutely useless.

I chose websites that are dead center on topic, yet I get about 50 -60 clicks or more per hour, and 95% of those "clicks" are overseas. (
On Google Search my conversion ratio is over 14% on leads once they land on the site. On MSN, it's almost 20%. Even on tier 2 PPC Content sites I see about 7%... On the Google Content Network, I've spent over 1,700 in clicks, and it's at a solid ZERO, using the same proven pages)

Despite the fact that these websites are supposedly drawing in 96% American traffic, and that's all I targeted, this is quite disappointing to me.

Looks like a lot of click fraud as well. Sure I expect some, but this is far worse than any tier 2, or even tier 3 PPC campaign. After fiddling with it, I finally turned it off. This is my 3rd go at the Content Network, in 3 different niche campaigns (Professional campaigns, not general) and each one has been a miserable failure.

I suppose I'll stick to Search and tier 2 PPC's. I even tried hiring an "expert" and his run at it failed as well. I'm sure the content network has its place, but from a few thousand dollars tossed in, 3 training courses, and hiring out, I've yet to realize a single dollar in return. Suppose I will move on.

for the content network you can also geo target.

I am using content network with great success but there are also some campaigns where it did really bad so I just disabled them.
