1st place Google on page one...no conversions?

This is an email i sent to my Affiliate partners who control ALL the admin, emails payments etc
I wondered if any warriors can work out why my PPC on the othere sites with the same partners are converting, but this site I have just SEO without PPC google is`nt, although it features on page 1 of Google for a few keywords???
"I did mean to chat to you more about my Over Fifty Friends - Home.
Key word "meet over fiftties" or instance I am 1st place on first page of UK Google, out of 78,500 odd searches.
Also, other keywords I use are on the are on the first page also, 4th and 6th.
for this reason alone i think the search term is relevant as other well known sites appear on the page...but no revenue / convesions? Or hits showing up?
The tracking code was put in place as well.
First page should bring some conversions i feel and dont know why it is`nt?"
My partners reply was:
"That is strange- I just did a search with that term and sure enough you are 1st on the 1st page- I am VERY surprised that you have not had an clicks on that term- are you sure all of the tracking is set up correctly? I don't really know what to to suggest to be honest as I cant control who clicks on the ads etc, but that's great that you are on the 1st page and the 1st site being shown- I couldn't think why members wouldn't click on it?? very puzzling?"
