Before I post on a blog, what is to much when it comes to external links. I want to get as much link juice as I can. Where should I draw the number. I was thinking 150 but I just made that up.

It's more about the number of external links you have per page on average. It would be great if you have many pages with great content that 0 external links, or just a couple. Then the pages with links (still 20 or more is pretty weak) will count more. Great question, and one that many people don't consider and then don't understand why their results are in the tank.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

You think you know my answer on this... Which is that the whole dilution of link power theory due to high OBL is pretty much B.S., at least when we are talking about numbers up to a few hundred. At least, that is what has been demonstrated to me time and time again. That being said, I have no doubt that Google may discount links coming from certain pages, for instance, those with 40 OBLs to "buy cialis now". But, that really has to do with the bad neighborhood links on the page, rather than the OBL number.s

I think that has changed, and it does matter more now.

Yeah, this is something I've been really wondering about. What if you needed to have thousands of links out on a section of your blog/website, but it was a heavily visited area, that lots of people read because the content was so unique and fun? Would you it cause problems with google?
