WEbsite PR Increasing services?

Hi guys,

I'm looking to increase my websites PR as they have dropped from PR3 to PR1 ..

Does anyone know of any services I could use to increase my PR?

I've paid someone once before on DP for it, but they did nothing so I lost some money which is why I'm hoping for some recommendations of trust worthy people here!

  • If you buy a few homepage or sitewide links from PR5 and PR6 sites, then it should do the trick of increasing your PR. But what it may do to your SERPS is another question.
  • Just create some backlinks from high page rank website so it will automatically increase after 3 months of dropping.

    • I like to think that increasing PR is more for the ego. What is more important is getting higher search engine ranking, don't you think. After all, PR impacts only about 20% of your search engine ranking.
  • Does PR impact any of your search engine ranking? I find it just can give you an idea of where a site is at, but means nothing at all for your actual rankings.

      1. Constantly update your site unique and attractive content
      2. Try to get high PR dofollow backlinks
      3. Increase the number of backlinks
      4. Bookmark and cross bookmark your site on different high PR dofollow social networks to increase the traffic and crawl rate
      5. ping your site to some high PR pinging sites.

      follow these practices and your PR will rise very quickly.

      Talking about the role of PR in SERPs, i believe that the effect of PR on ranking of a site is very minor. What counts is the number of backlinks from high quality sites. The PR of a website is constantly changing but updated after some time. you can only get round value of PR through google toolbar or other tools. the actual value is kept hidden.
  • PR is over rated. I would take a number one spop on the search engine results over any PR5, PR6, PR7, PR8 or PR9, any day.

    PR is going to do little to increase your position on the SERPs, and that is where traffic comes from. People just don't check your PR to decide if they will click on your link in the SERPs.

    • The thing is, I don't want to increase my SERPS as I am already number 1 , I want to increase my PR for better "advertising rates.."
