Why is my Adwords Banner not getting any impressions?

HI,
maybe someone can help me?
I have been doing ppc adwords for a while but not really that good at it, just trying to use it to test my landing page
but the other day i decided to also try a banner and i made that campaign for the content network.
all my settings seem to be ok, like the keywords, the bids, etc seem to be right on but for some reason the banner has not received a single impression
is there some reason it's not showing on the content network? i am stumped...:confused:
any ideas are greatly appreciated.
