How To Get More Of Your Articles Indexed

Sometimes when doing mass article submissions you don't have very many of these actually indexed in the search engines. There is a little trick I use that will help more of these get indexed so you can get a few more backlinks.

1. Download this plugin for Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/605/
It will allow you to copy all the links on any web page.

2. Go to one of the article directories that you are submitting to. Use the plugin to copy all the URLs on your author page where it lists links to all your articles.

3. Take this list of URLs and go to html2rss.com or hostmyrss.com and paste these into these services to create a feed.

4. Take your new feed and use an rss submitter (I use RSSBot) and blast that new feed out.

Not everything will get indexed, but it does help. It's something useful to do with the article directories that you are using from time to time especially the ones that have been giving you backlinks already.

It's worth the 2 minutes that this task takes.

I don't understand why getting indexed is a problem?

Especially if you're using a blog. You just need a sitemap and a link to it and you'll get indexed. Ping the page (automatically done in most blog platforms) and you have 2 things that ensure it.

Getting indexed shouldn't be a problem for anyone these days.

Well, I'm talking about mass article submissions. There are times that the sites you submit to just don't seem to get crawled and indexed in the search engines. Doing this makes more of them show up especially when viewing your backlinks on your site.

Through my experience I have found that some directories do not get crawled thoroughly on a regular basis. This means that your articles may take weeks to get indexed and sometimes they may not get indexed at all. This is where you sometimes need to intervene to make sure your articles get crawled and indexed at super speed.
