SEO Experts: I'm Stumped On This One (Would Really Appreciate Some Advice)
- SEO |
So, recently I tried testing an SEO theory to see what would happen.
A friend of mine said I could try it on one of his websites (which was ranking on page 4 for his keywords). Anyway, I set up some satellite blogs and they were hosted on separate C-Class domains.
The result was that the couple sites I linked to from these satellite blogs ended up totally disappearing from Google a couple days ago, and unfortunately one them was one my own sites ranking on the 1st page of Google (stupid I know).
I feel slightly embarrassed by this blunder! But I have to swallow my pride and ask for some help, because I'm stumped...and here's the problem...
Some of those blogs actually started ranking for the keywords (the blogs were on domains with existing age/PR/backlinks).
Anyway, I changed all the DNS nameserver settings and now all the blogs are offline...the problem is that some of them are still showing up in Google searches...and the sites that I want to be ranked have not come back yet. Also, Yahoo is still recognizing all the backlinks even though the sites are deleted and the domains are parked.
If anyone has any advice I would GREATLY appreciate it.
This was a mistake someone with my experience (not that I'm an expert, but I know enough to know better) should have never made.
Thanks so much in advance,
Tommy
