Creating Backlinks

Creating backlinks is the most tedious part of internet marketing for me. Keyword research, setting up a site, posting is all fine but I really hate creating backlinks and this is one of the most important things to do I know. Does anyone know of a quicker way to create quality links? Any good WP plugins I could make use of? I know about some programs like automated article poster, but those don't work with a mac. I don't have access to a Windows machine at the moment.

Any advice/suggestions is welcome.

  • My favorite way is just to work a bit on it every day - videos, articles, press releases, etc. And I have a Google Alert set-up so each night I can see proof of the work I've done that day and it feels good to see the progress. Beyond that I don't have any easy, fast methods.
  • I actually made a post about this on my blog last night.

    I really like Free Traffic System. Free to sign up for and each article you submit can contain 2 backlinks. It's submitted to 30 blogs, so that's 60 backlinks with one article. This is a website, so you don't have to worry about having a Mac (I have one myself).

    I posted some other things last night, but this is a great way to build backlinks.

    • Just too add to this, there are multiple blog networks out there that allow you to do this. The best ones are paid. You should look for ones that allow you to spin content.

      I actually stopped using them because I found my backlinks rarely were getting indexed.

  • There's not really any good plugins that will help you do this outside of using a twitter or facebook plugin to post on your accounts. My favorite method is through social bookmarking clubs. If you're interested you can read a write up I did reviewing a couple of them.

    Too bad there aren't more good marketing programs for Mac. Guess if I were a programmer this would be a great niche to go into. Mind if i ask what your main area of focus is within internet marketing

    • For the most part I follow the Google Sniper method and put up small blogs promoting affiliate products. Currently I have around 30 of those up, which is allowing me to work on other things.

      I have a few other assets I work on, but in my opinion there's no better/easier way to go than combining Adsense, Blogging, and Affiliate Products.
  • Just outsource it. I subscribed to Angela's and Paul's and Steven's backlink packages. I found them hard to do and get my link to show up right, and the tedium was the worst part. So I outsourced it to Jake here in the classified forum http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...t=%2475+a+week

    It never went so smooth. And the price was right. I was paying about $0.15 for every back link I got in a post. I could have had two link per post with no problem and cut that cost even more. I will never do them myself again, Jake has employees that can do it better than me, and are happy to do them for me. Can't beat that with a stick.
  • I am testing out a plugin now you can see it in action in my sig, also, you can exchange back links, I know a lot of people say that massive linking is the way to go, but you know what, manual back linking, is working better for me, and at a slow steady pace, not all at once...

    it really does look like google and other SE, consider many different things when assigning a websites worth, (apparently PR is old news) now it is all about the value and worth of your website.

    Like at alexa, they not only measure, your traffic, but they also measure, the links that come in and out, as well as measuring the text content that is found on the website.

    PR will soon be a thing of the past,
  • There are no ideal methods that allow you to create quality backlinks.
    If you really need high-quality backlinks, the effective way may be to purchase backlinks on those link-buy-and-sell market places.

    • See if you can find someone to share an outsourcer with you. The link above to Jake's post shows that you can get a full time VA for just $300 a month. Split that between a few people and you can each get a TON of linking done.
  • I don't have time to create backlinks for my clients. It's tedious work. Now refer all of them to a high quality backlinking service that came recommended through Warrior's Forum.

    Very affordable prices, good links, and great results. Everyone is pleased.
