Exact Match Domain Keyword Giveaway (Part 2) - OFFER CLOSED!

Hi guys & gals,

There's been a lot of talk about exact match domains on this forum lately(I somewhat contributed to all the hype) and I wanted to offer my help again and give a hand to newbies and all those who might be struggling with keyword research.

Here is the original thread that sparked all the interest:
http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...e-help-me.html

I have been doing some intense keyword research for the last 2 days and I have more than 100 great keywords with exact match domains available. All you have to do is PM me or post in this thread and I'll send you 2 keywords with exact match domains available.

OVERVIEW AND DETAILS FOR THIS SIMPLE METHOD

1. Exact match domains give you a slight boost in the search engine rankings(it's not a magic pill and you'll have to do the work, but EMD's can certainly help minimize the work involved)

2. The majority of the sites get indexed and rank on page 1 or 2 without any backlinks.

3. Wordpress sites are recommended(with a sitemap, about page, contact form, privacy policy and at least a few pages of relevant content)

4. In my experience, good content and the EMD will give most sites at least a low page 1 ranking. To move the site up in the search engine rankings, I recommend building backlinks SLOWLY to get the best effect. A few high quality backlinks are better than hundreds of low-quality ones.

5. Big shopping sites like Amazon and Nextag can be outranked, but it may take some time.

6. Here's a great post that may give you insight into the traffic levels that you may experience: Is ranking in the top 10 good enough? : Jonathan Leger

7. You can monetize these sites with Adsense, affiliate products, CPa offers...anything relevant will work.

8. Although I have had nothing but positive experiences using brand names in the domain name, I don't recommend doing so without checking out the terms of service and other policies of a specific product and company.

9. I personally target only keywords that have at least 3000 searches per month according to the Google Keyword Tool, but even keywords with less searches can do extremely well.

I recommend reading the original thread before asking any method-related question here. Hopefully, I can be of help to those of you looking to make money with niche marketing.

All the best,

Josip

    • Hi Josip,

This is quite a coincidence that you made this thread now since I recently read your simple blueprint thread and wanted to contact you about a site I'm working on, but unfortunately I don't yet have enough posts to send PMs.

If you could PM me some keywords and maybe an email address I could contact you on? I would appreciate that a lot.

      Thanks for your generosity.

  • Good points made, but 3000 searches per month is far too small. That's only 100 a day and even the top site is lucky to see +50% of that. You want at least a 1000 a day.

    • 3000 a month is plenty if the niche converts. I've had several sites that were in the 3000 a month range earn $100+ per month.
    • That's a load of rubbish....I have niche sites that get less than 100 searches per day and still make $200 + per month....

  • Hi thanks for being so forthcoming, enjoyed the original post and this one.

I've only just started using wordpress prefer to hand code html and css, do you think this might put me at a disadvantage? I do include privacy page and contact page.

Oh and if any keywords still available I would be very grateful

    Cheers.

  • Hi,
I also cant PM, would appreciate it if you could PM me.
  • Hey Josip, how'ya going? Good stuff. Without wanting to hijack this, I was wondering if you or anyone here have taken notice of the recent algorithmic changes (doomed 'May Day') by Google that happened towards the end of May, that would apparently impact the ranking of long-tail domains.

A lot of people saw their sites disappear form G's radar and lost up to 90% of their traffic at around the same day, all at once (end of May/ beginning of June). It's been said that they amongst other things they targeted sites with exact match long tail domains that had rather flimsy content that would not add much value.

There is another thread here in the WF forum with a video in the second post, showing Matt Cutts from Google, in which he talks about those changes and how they assess which sites they consider the best match for long tail queries.

The main lessons I would take away from this is:
    • Provide valuable content! This cannot be stressed enough. Just a copy/paste of the description for the product you want to promote, will not cut it!
    • Try to take a step back and look at some sites that follow this concept and still make it to the top - do they look professional or simply cheap and nasty and shout "I was created in an hour, never mind... I want you money, gimme your money!"
    • Don't just think traffic - just as important is...(**drum-roll**) conversion, yeah! Which brings us back to content and asthetics. When you look at some of these sites -try to think as a random browser- seriously ask yourself: Would you be happy to click through the affiliate link and buy from that site?

And sorry in advance that I will log off in a few minutes but it's 4am here...way past my bed time

    • I have PM'ed everyone and sent you the keywords!

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad I could be of such help to you.

Whatever you're most comfortable with. No disadvantage whatsoever.

I wouldn't have known about MayDay if there weren't so many discussions about it here on the forum. I think people spend too much time being "creatures of outside conditions", as James Allen would say. I don't worry about these things and they don't affect me negatively.

      Cheers,

      Josip

  • One more question Josip,
What tool do you use to find out which domains are available?
As far as I see some of such sites provide wrong information about available domain names.

    • I use Namecheap and I one domain at a time. I know, it may seem like a time-waster, but I've gotten pretty good and fast with it.

When I do the keyword research, I have the Google Keyword Tool open in one tab, Namecheap in the other and an open notepad file where I copy/paste the available EMD's, with their number of searches.

I can find 50 EMD's in one afternoon, without breaking a a sweat.

      Hope this helps,

      Josip
