I am wondering once an article is featured within google's top 10 PR status how do you maintain being in the top 10 PR?

I would like to help you find the answer to your question, but I don't fully understand what you are asking...

an article with a PR of 10...(?) I'm not even sure if that is possible.
If it was possible, you would already know how you got it to that position...

Lucas: I don't think she even knows what she is asking... She has read some stuff and is confused... That is why she is here...

LadyCarlisle: Google PageRank is a value that google gives to each page on the internet. A page can rank from PR0 to PR10.

The only other option is Gray Bar. Gray Bar is what a page has before Google finds your page. After Google finds the page, it goes to PR0.

PR0 simply means that your page is new, and possibly of no value...

As your page acquired Link Popularity or links pointing to the page, then your page grows in value in the eyes of Google...

That will push your PageRank up from PR0 to PR1, if the pages linked to yours are pages that have value in the eyes of Google.

With a lot of valuable links, you could potentially climb to PR10, but few pages can manage it...

I have more than 15,000 links to one of my pages and it is a PR4...

But I have PR6 pages pointing to another page on my website which has a PR5.

      My twitter profile is PR6.

It is a mix of the number of links pointing to a page and the value of the links pointing to a page that drives the PageRank value of a single page.

To keep that number stable or moving upwards, you need to drive more links to it, but more efficiently, drive links from higher quality pages to it...

      I hope this helps...
