Hi

If this is the wrong place please point me the correct one.

Whilst doing some reseacrh (i.e. sleeping ) i had an idea. Ive researched the keyword phrase and heres what i have

The .com is availble
its 3 words long no hypens and is logically english

Global Annual Search for phrase 3120 Global Monthly Search for phrase 260 Estimated Avg. CPC $9.78
I'm logged out of my google accounts and when i do a search on the phrase i get the following

with the search results per page set to 10 i get

Phrase 65,300,000 "phrase" 280,000 intitle:"phrase" 60
with the search results set to 100 i get

Phrase 65,300,000 "phrase" 46 intitle:"phrase" 15
!!!

So my question is which to trust and why ?

Also does it stack to develop the keyword phrase into a domain anyway ?

thanks for all and any insights

    Steve,
I'm not 100% sure I understood your post, but I will say this and maybe it will shed some light on your question. If you sort your SERP by 100 instead of 10, Google will group similar results together. When sorted by 10, you may see 2 separate pages from the same domain on different SERP pages. But when sorted by 100 Google prefers to give you more diverse list. You will also see this discrepancy emerge if you use a rank checker tool because those tools tend to pull results in 100s per chunk.
As to your other question. YES having your keyword phrase in a domain is a very good thing to do.

260 a month for US is extremely low and thats for phrase match. You probably want exact match. I wouldn't waste my time targeting that keyword. The phrase results in the search engines don't matter at all. That has nothing to do with the search traffic for that keyword.

Phrase results definitely have something to do with search traffic. Where did you hear that they didn't?

I will agree that 260 a month isn't a great keyword to target...but phrase match is definitely worth considering. More times than not when you are backlinking for an exact match term you rank for the phrase match searches as well.

I'm not talking about the phrase match when targeting a keyword. I'm talking about the phrase results in Google. That's what he was talking about when he said "Phrase 65,300,000 "phrase" 280,000". The phrase results in google don't mean anything. I have a site at #1 for a term with phrase results "1 - 10 of about 22,500,000". It doesn't get any traffic.
