Sometimes this happens for a few days when a human at Google reviews your site... just a few days and see if it gets fixed.

    Which keywords were you testing?

You're still listed in google for "primo vacations", but it looks like you were bumped to page 2...

You're on page 2 for "Primo Vacations Club Review", "Primo Vacations Club" and "Primo Vacations" and the competition seems rather stiff for those keywords. You aren't 'sandboxed', it's that you're simply going to need more better links to move back onto page one.

Is your site new (less than 6 months) and were you doing more link building than before. If yes it could be the Google dance because it usually happens for new sites doing too much backlink building.

That happened to me also... sometimes it will disappear and will reappear with a bang - higher ranks. But sad to say, there are times, it will be lower.

Just continue building links though... :-)

Same case happened to me last week,it took eight days to ask me back into the game. I advise patience and more link building.

Don't fret...your site is most likely doing the Google dance. This happens from time to time with newer sites and even sometimes older sites. Google is just moving thing around and digesting your backlinks, etc.

Give it a week and see where you end up....I've had a site move from page 3 to page 1 after a dance....as your site gains more age it will not dance as much as in the early stages.

To answer your question, "is my site SANDBOXED?!" The answer is "NO!" Just rest at ease and keep building BLs. Also, may I advise you NEVER to post keywords you are targeting on ANY open forum, including the WF.

About three months ago, there was a WF member who had started making sales in a niche that paid handsomely. He was so excited that he posted a thread about his success with the info about the niche and the next thing he knew, BAM! He had drawn a slew of new gung ho competitors.

It's easy to state your situation/dilemma/question without opening up the vault for all to see. If you have to, PM people you can trust, but do yourself a favor and don't give away your golden nuggets!

Google could have just been dancing and that's why you hit the top rankings.

My "competitors" NEVER frequent IM sites. It's just not a lucrative or competitive niche as there are only a handful of decently sized sites about it and it is a fan genre. Suffice it to say virtually none of the forums in our genre know what SEO even is and many of them actually want to stay small hobby sites and NOT show up in SERPs because they consider the typical player signing up by way of finding them on google, to be poor quality players. Most of them find their members through link and advertisement exchanges with other Warriors RPG sites.

It's weird to step in here on a forum like this, it's a whole nother world.

...If your site goes form page 1 to page 2 I don't think that is the sandbox I think that is just an algorithmic change affecting your placement. I'd just keep on optimising.

I have two sites that I started earlier this year. They have been going from the first page of Google to "neverland", back and forth (though not necessarily at the same time), since late April. Right now they are both back in the top 10. Hopefully they'll stay there finally.
