Hey guys,

Search engine result page positions are something very very important, isn't it? But how can we find/suggest an accurate (not completely) reason for a quick drop?? I have a blog, which came to the top of SERP a day and maintained an avg pos of 12 for a week. But now it has dropped to 4/5th page.

What do you think about SERP drops? What can be the reason(s)? Please feel free to share your views on this issue.? Thank you very much!

If you didn't do anything to break the rules with Google, and you're regularly adding fresh, unique, organic, high quality content, then it probably has something to do with recent algorithmic changes. Focus on your website and attracting visitors who are looking for what you have to offer. If what you create is good, others will link to it, and you'll climb in the SERPs.
  • @HunterSnake, you are absolutely right! Its always tough to answer. But here in my case, the traffic, adsense revenue, backlinks everything has increased in the last month -- and serp dropped.. It's kinda confusing...!!
