Crazy results in new G for some keywords!

Time ago, when I used to look for Kw's in big G, MNF or MSamurai and some crazy amounts ( let's say 1,800,000) of searches appeared, going to the last ones, the glitch generally appeared and the real # of searches appearing was reasonable.

But now this comes up in the end of the road:

"
In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the ### already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.
"

So it is impossible to tell the real # of searches of the given KW, or am I wrong?

I guess you talking about no. of results for that query and not searches

Google show the above text when you put that KW query into google... whereas if you are talking about no. of searches you will never get such msg

so these are 2 different things searches vs. competing sites.

Of course I am talking about results!
Let's say I go for "blue plastic widgets" in quotes and:

Page 54 of about 1,860,000 results (0.45 seconds)
In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 531 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

^^ Searches and number of returned results are two different things.

What do you mean "of course!" ?

Searches = number of queries being made on Google. So for example, you search "blue green widgets" on Google once. That's 1 search.

    # of results = number of websites that Google thing is relevant to that search query.

Wow I think I've been seeing that text on the end of search results on google for what, 10 years? XD

I have tried having it include the results but it never really adds anything extra of value. Almost all of it is duplicate content, legit or not.
