adding blog to site

Hello Warriors

I am adding a wordpress blog to my site, goal is to send traffic to the site by optimizing each long tail keyword to a post.

Due to some issues, I am unable to just add a folder mysite.com/blog.

Would I get the same SEO benefits as adding a folder when I create the blog in a sub-domain, so it will be blog.mysite.com?

    go to your cpanel and then to fantastico, then to wordpress which is located on the left had site (you will see a list of scripts) then click install, important thing is when it asks what directory to install your blog in you can do 2 things, one you can nae it blog and it will install and look like yoursite.com/blog like you want and in future if you only want a blog on your domain leave it blank and you will get yourblog.com
