When using Wordpress to make small, niche marketing sales sites is it better from a SEO viewpoint to make several pages or to make several posts?
What ar e the advantages and disadvantages of each?

      If you are trying to rank for 1 or 2 words why not do both, it really depends on what you wanna do.

      the advantages really vary because there are many themes that can make your blog look and feel like a website, blog or a news report.

      Just keep it simple try to rank for 1 keyword first, try both a post and a page and see what works for you.
