Buying aged domains - useful sites?

I am interested in acquiring some aged domains for a few projects. I am going to be honest, I have no experience or knowledge on this. So far I have limited myself to the 'safe' (for want of a better word) haven of GoDaddy domain auctions.

However I feel there has to be a better way. Can anyone recommend any better sites?

For instance I saw in another thread buydomains.com - any experience? Am finding their search function to be very clunky and unuser-friendly.

Thanks in advance

John

EDIT: After wading through a lot of old posts I found Freshdrop.net suggested. Any more?

    Hi John,

A little late but I just built a tool which analyzes all of the Godaddy, namejet and more sources coming soon domain auctions. It analyzes lots of data.

Analyzes keyword within domain, majestic seo data, directory listings, pagerank, competitors for the keyword within the domain, and much, much more.

You can check it out here if you are still looking for aged domains. The neat part is that a lot of marketers are missing out on a lot of great domains. They are being sold for $12 and no one if buying them. This tool is revealing these domains for marketers.

You can check it out here: Aged Domain Hunter

    Hope this helps.

Let me know if you have any questions.
