You get multiple backlinks from multiple forum posts, but the link juice that goes through each backlink is batted down a bit every time you post, so they are not as relevant.

If I look at my site on yahoo!'s site index, I can see I have a lot of warrior forum post backlinks, but I know they are not as powerful as others.
