30 backlinks pointing to your site?

or

10 backlinks with 2 backlinks to each of those 10 backlinks?

If we're assuming the exact same backlinks are used in both examples, option 1.

What if the 30 backlinks were PR 2, the 10 backlinks were PR 2 as well, but the 2 backlinks pointing to each of the 10 backlinks were PR 3?

Would that change anyone's mind?

Not mine.

Really, the only time you would need buffer sites is if you're doing something a shade darker than white hat seo.

I personally never had more success using buffers loaded with PR sites, rather than using them directly on my money site.
