I'm wondering the free methods for getting your site indexed by google fast. Yesterday I set up a new site, and used a free version of Article Marketing Robot to send off a few articles and once set up was indexed in about 15 minutes. The software is great but I don't really use alot of artlicle marketing and only have a free five day version. Looking for any other methods.

I use social book marking and twitter and a few other things but that should be enough to wet your whistle

    All the best

    • Nowadays i just use identi.ca. i will do a posting there including my domain and ping the posting using pingler or pingomatic. 2 hours later, i'll be index by google. i'll have the same results with digg.

    • Ok i am going to explain the method and why ou do it this way.

You need to get a backlink from a very active website that i going to get regular visits from googles crawling and indexing robots. the idea is that when they crawl this site, the robot will follow the link back to your site and index it.

Go to a web 2.0 site, profile page but i personally reccommend livejournal.com, they have a high PR and i find that they rank really well in google. ok so you create an article with a link back to your internal page www.domain.com/article.html on livejournal.

now get your livejournal url and your domain url (actuallyi would get both the root domain www.domain.com and your internal page www.domain.com/article.html) with these 3 urls go to pingler.com (they only allow 2 url pings per day now, but there ia $3 a month fee for 25 urls) or ping-o-matic.com and ping your urls. the crwlers should see your sight within 24 to 48 hours.

      hope this helps

BTW this is only 1 of many methods to get your site indexed, not the most powerful but definaetly the simplist.

    • Try using ATOM RSS. you will get indexed within minutes swear.
  • I appreciate all the ideas. It seems as though getting links on a site with high PR is important. My sites are extreme "current news, sports, enterntainment" stuff so indexing every hour is a wasted hour. I'm still learning my system and all the help I can get is great. Thanks again.
  • When I launch a new, completed web site, I pretty much do what Google recommends and find myself indexed within hours or days, especially after the recent algorithmic changes.
    1. Add your site to Google Webmaster Tools and submit a sitemap
    2. Add your URL to Google

    Easy.

    Also, there's...

    Ping-o-Matic!

    • Once again, HunterSnake is right on top with the best and safest methods. Bing has similar tools in their Webmaster Center and they work perfectly also.

  • Just do Clip mark posting...
Your site will index within 24 hors
  • The fastest way to get a site indexed is to post an article with a title for which Google has no search results. Google will log that there was a search for something there was no result for and send their bots out to find a site with the keyword
  • Try not to forget the SEO benefit of article marketing. Not only will you get indexed fast, but you will also outrank your competition.

  • I agree with the above mentioned. My joomla site is built to submit articles to digg, facebook and twitter.com, they get indexed in a couple hours.

webmasters tools x sitemap submission is also a must like mentioned above as well.
  • Well I was wondering about the same thing. I just also created two brand new sites and what I did was submit google sitemap, submit my rss feeds to a few of the top rss directories, and bookmarked my site using onlywire and one of my sites is now indexed in Google. The other one isnt indexed yet but I think that is due to not bookmarking the site which I have now done.
  • Hi there,

For me I would have to say social media sites and your key words. I recently did an article and only posted it to ezine articles. After it was approved it was #1 in 4 search engines in less than 2 days. Using authority key words can help you alot too. To find out more about that just search through google labs.

    Hope this was help full.

  • For quick indexing you can use pingler and onlywire bookmarking. It pretty much gets the job done if you set you bookmarking sites to be indexed by google bots periodically.

    • xml sitemap submission to major search engine such as Google, Yahoo and Bing is the best and easy way to index your website fast.

    • I posted this at another site, but since it's basically the same question I'm pasting my response from the other site here:

I call it 'establishing the asset' and it's quite simple. First, you create the asset, that could be either a site, a page, a blog post, an article, etc. Then you story submit the asset to these sites: Digg, Yahoo Buzz, Propeller, Kirtsy, then copy and paste the asset at Sodahead. Onlywire the asset as well as the story submissions. If your asset is a website create a profile about your site at Aboutus.org, also post a rating of your asset at Rateitall.com. Should take about 15-20 minutes.

      This will index your asset.
  • Oh, great tips here! Actually i do variations.. Sometimes i submit to Google and then bookmark and ping. Sometimes i do article marketing and bookmark and ping. The results are equally the same.
  • do blog comments, social bookmarking, forum posting, tweeting and I'm sure your site will get indexed within just a few hours.

    • What works for me is Digg and add a link in my Tumblr site. Usually indexed within a day for a new site.

It works well with three words domain, but for two and four words domain sometimes took as long as a week.

      4. Create a sitemap
      5. Ping all the backlinks
      6. Create all backlink urls to RSS and submit to RSS directories(I use Big Mike's)

  • Submit RSS Feed to quality RSS Directories.

  • Doing this will get your site indexed in a matter of hours;

Post a new thread here on WF with at least 250 words of unique content, then in your sig insert your link, then send an email from one gmail account to another gmail account with your URL in it and a link to your new WF thread.

Sometimes, I've gotten indexed in under an hour using this method, no joke.
  • I think the fastest way to get indexed is getting your site Google +1 liked. I did that with a site of mine and it was indexed within 1 hour.
  • You can get indexed reasonably quickly by submitting your site to the social bookmarks like Digg and Reddit, Google regularly indexes these sites, so the more your site is on them, the more chances you will equally be indexed
