Is it possible for bots to do automated google searches for particular keywords?
I am asking this because I found a keyword that has over 50,000 EXACT DAILY searches but less than 6,900 competition. And the sites on the first page are weak. For instance, using Traffic Travis, the site on the first place of the page one on google has fails on these elements: DMOZ, YAHD, Description, H1tag. And only passes "Title". The number of backlinks to this page is only 2!
I'm really suspicious because the exact daily search of over 50,000 is too good to be true compared to the 6,900 weak competition. I would think that with these numbers tougher competitors in high numbers would be attracted to this keyword. Are bots doing automated searches for this keyword possible? The first place site seems to be owned by a very technically oriented person from India.
