Google.com.au Penalty Fix Help

Dear Friends,

I am after long time, now back to warrior forum. Hope everyone is doing great here.

I need some help from you guys, I had one of my friend's site dropped from Google.com.au listing about last 4 months back as far as he had done changes to his existing web design, but the meta tags and etc have been might be changed, but now the meta details are restored back. The site is 10 Years old, It seems it is under penalty, When I searched on Google.com.au for Central coast Holiday accommodation - I can see the site on very last page. The site I am talking about it the Australia Holiday site which is in my signature.

How can I know what kind of Penalty was given by Google? How long it will take to come out of it? I am doing backlinks for last 3 weeks getting backlinks on regular basis. Still no RECOVERY..... Any suggestions.

The site was well ranked for many competitive keywords like Holiday accommodations.

Love to get advise from Experts here.

  • It looks like to me it still hasn't re-indexed since you made your title tag changes. Have you tried running through and social bookmarking this website again?

    • Thanks for help, The site was indexed by Google on last 21-Jul-2010, At the time all meta info are fine as normal. I had bookmarked the main page as well as some other subpages on various bookmarks sites on last week as well as got 100+ profile links on last week via various inner pages of the site as well as main page of the site via various keywords.......

      Any thought pls??

    Sometimes, back there I had seen lots of experts sharing their knowledge over here.... where are all of them????
  • Hosting it on a server in Dallas is sending mix messages to Google as to what location it is relevant to. Move it to an Australian host.
