Headspace plugin is giving me a headache!

Hi Folks,

I know a lot of people on this forum use and recommend the Headspace2 SEO plugin for Wordpress. I am hoping some kind soul will take pity on me and lend a hand with helping me get to grips with it.

I have installed the plugin on a local PC as well as a live test blog. Although the meta details entered for the pages work O.K. I can't get the posts to show descriptions or keywords that I enter into the Headspace boxes when editing the posts.

I've spent a couple of days now trying to work out what I'm doing wrong. I did try posting on the Headspace forum the other day, but it is not very well supported and most questions go unanswered. There does appear to be some issues with Headspace at the moment with Wordpress 3.0, but I'm sure I should be able to control the meta data for posts as no one else seem to be having this problem.

I'm using the correct code within my head tags - <title><?php wp_title ('',true); ?></title>
and I've tried switching themes, but it makes no difference.

If anyone has the time to help me with this it would be much appreciated. I'd be happy to provide login details to the test blog via email.

Many thanks

Myles

O.K. after trying out every SEO plugin on the planet and getting the same problem, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong.

When I was looking at my post, I was viewing the content on the blog page and then checking the source code for the meta details. I discovered that I need to click on the permalink of the post title and then check the source code on the resulting page!

I bet I'm not the only one who's made that mistake!

P.S. check out Gregs High Performance SEO plugin WordPress › Greg's High Performance SEO WordPress Plugins It's extremely well documented, and well worth taking a look at.
