I prety much was a lazy so and so and thought very hard about seo for too much of my time .... far to much.

So much so that I failed to get much done . so what did I do .. gave myself a kick and finally started to put some work in, I hit bottom of page 1 tonight for a good keyword and Im getting hits already in position 9.

Its 20 past 2 in the morning here and I only just stopped working 10 minutes ago.

What I'm trying to say is dont over-think anything, as long as you have chosen a reasonably rankable keyword then you will rank for it.

I have been submitting articles to directorys, a few blog networks and the final push was a 50 profile link submission. I,ve just submitted a few more articles and I reckon I,m going to hit top spot very soon.

All you need to do is work, plain and simple, just like you would do for a boss. Do this and you WILL rank.

So I've been at this a while now and every time I go to launch a site I seem to follow a new path. I'm wondering if anyone would care to share their initial launch plan of a new site?

I know there are services out there that offer social bookmarking, article submissions, etc.

Do you use these? Do everything yourself?

If you have a good plan and wouldn't mind sharing, please do so.

I understand if you do not want to share, but just thought I'd ask.

get a good amount of social bookmark and .edu and .gov backlinks. wait like a week before you start building more backlinks.
