For those of you who are advertising on facebook, is your ctr really low? It would seem to be low since it's flashing ads to everyone in the targeting categories you choose, as opposed to Adwords or Yahoo Search who have to type in a particular keyword for the ad to show up.
i just started a campaign on facebook last night and there's like 73,000 and 16 clicks. 16 clicks on google would be a great ctr b/c it would be out of maybe 100 views. I'm wondering if my cpc is going to climb because of this.

Any insight?

Facebook ads is expensive if you target a very small group or practicaly anything from US, UK and australia. I would suggest targeting OUTSIDE these countries. I have had some ads shown to 190 000 golfers over 50 years old for 2-3c per click.

When the CTR gets over 0.05% it is better to switch to CPM.

It is also good to know how to setup your add to make it appeal to your public.

    Sincerely, I.B.
