How good should my website be?

I want to create a website to get clicks for adsense. I was thinking if I created a very detailed website, the users will stay but I want people to just click on the adsense when they come. So should I build a very simple website that give minimum information so people will want to look for other information and click at the adsense? Is this wrong thinking?

Keep your site as simple as possible in terms of how many links you have on your page and distractions, but make sure you make your site look professional at the same time.

create a site that offers value.. i.e people return to it + new vistors rather than creating a crap site for adsense only.

So, to answer your question it should be as good as you can get it.

Poor content is a sure way to tick off your readers and have them click out of your site totally. Bye-bye adsense! You really do need to provide good content. That's either something new or present old material in a new way. You have to give your reader enough information to make him happy, but still have questions so he wants more information and will click on that adsense ad. I haven't mastered it yet, but once I do, I know it'll benefit my profits.

Use PLR Articles (rewrite them if possible). They are well written and very broad. This way your readers won't feel disgusted, but at the same time will look for more info

This depends on your overall strategy. If you plan to have one website the answer is different to having a number of mini-sites. My personal view for mini-sites is to have 2 to 5 very informative but simple pages WITH NO EXTERNAL LINKS. When people have read what they want to know they are then more likely to click on an ad than click on the back button to return to the search engine that took them to your page.
