Hi there, as I am somewhat lacking in the SEO/ traffic generation department I am thinking about outsourcing the development of a traffic generation/optimization plan for my site to a company on Elance. Does anyone have any idea what information that I should be looking to receive in the bid proposal?
#generation #include #plan #traffic

If you want real traffic, join social networking sites in your niche. and obviously the popular ones like facebook, twitter, (myspace if it's appropriate).. digg, linked in. etc. foursquare and gowalla if you've got a physical address. THESE methods aren't so great for SEO, but they are good for building brand awareness with real people.

Yup. Just learn it yourself. There are lots of free ebooks, free WSOs, and threads here in the warriorforum that can help you in that area. The War Room can also help you there. It is better that you know your promotion methods before outsourcing them so you will know that they actually bear fruit. And when you get the money coming in, that's the time you can outsource everything.

If you check out the SEO packages page on my website, you can get a long list of excellent things to do that are known to help generate traffic/boost rankings in the SERPs. These are the things I do at least.

SEO is boring but it pays off big time.
True, you can learn a bit at a time and with little or no investment. There tons of videos and articles online that reveal lots of nice SEO secrets.

If you are looking into social bookmarking, i recently found a site that I am sure will help you. It's called pingfm.com and it's completely free.

    Good luck

To the original poster, Traffic generation is a multifaceted thing so if you want to outsource, you need to be clear in your mind what aspects of traffic generation it is you want to outsource. So you could outsource article generation for example and submit them to the article directories. Or social bookmarking

But these things could run up a bill so I think if you are a one man company with limited funds and some spare time, consider doing things yourself

There are loads of threads in this forum on things like blog commenting, forum participation, article marketing, on page optimization, social networking. Good tips that could get you a decent amount of traffic that converts, if the tips are implemented

      Good luck
