profile links

Hi,

I was wondering about many servies i'm seeing lately to get you high PR links. They provide links to sites with PR5-9 .

Yet these links, are made via a profile link put into a bio area. While the page has no PR I was wondering if there was any chance of getting something out of them by the way the site could be set up?

Is this possible?

    its the base site authority and trust that helps your rankings. if the base site is pr9 you will get something out of them...

      will it show in webmaster or yahoo though?

      I tried one a few weeks ago for a old site.. nothing has come up yet..

    I'm a recent convert and have found that for my micro niche sites they are worthwhile. The trick is in using volume (a couple of hundred work a treat), and giving the SEs a helping hand in finding them. While manually creating them might not be worth your time you'll find that any automation you can do will improve your results without eating up time you could be spending on something else.

    If it wasn't likely a violation of WF's TOS, I would suggest just putting up a stick on this ;-) If you use the search function here, you should get 100s if not 1000s of threads discussing everything on this topic to your heart's content. There are at least 3 threads on this subject here every day.

    The short answer is yes, they work. Obviously, getting a link on a page 5 page is awesome, but unless you have $$$ or connections, that just isn't happening.

      You can find plenty of services that will automate this process for you. It makes it a lot easier to have someone do the work for you rather than having to try and find high PR forums to post a backlink on.

      I would recommend doing some more research and finding a service that is cost effective and will help you make some money while not having to micro manage your own backlinks. Let the experts deal with that while you manage your site and your conversions.
