    I create blogs on a number of web 2.0 sites then write an article which spin to create 200 differing articles. I then submit these articles to the blogs I created with my chosen keyword spread throughout the body of the article and linking back to my money site. This creates a 'link wheel' I then use RSS Submission services like feedage.com, rssmountain.com to submit to RSS. I then use ping.fm to update all my social networks. I submit a number of new articles each week on my chosen keywords to article networks with the resource box linking back to my money site. I repeat the above daily until I see results in the SERPs. A word of warning though do not add more than 3 blog posts a day or you could drop out of the SERPs. I then use the money I generate through SEO to fund my PPC and media buying campaigns, which is where the real money is!

    I hope that helps.

    Seems that people make this complicated so they can sell expensive solutions!!

    It's very easy to get your site indexed in Google in about 24-48 hours.

    First you obviously must have some content on your site so if it's a blog at least a couple of posts.

    Then you need to create an XML site map. If you are using word press then use the Google XML sitemap plug-in that will do this automatically for you. If not then use Create your Google Sitemap Online - XML Sitemaps Generator (xml-sitemap(dot)com) to create a site map. Upload it to your site root directory (Wordpress does this automatically).

    Then you need a a free Google webmaster account (plenty of info of how to do that anywhere). Add you website, you will be asked to verify your site by adding a piece of html code into the head section of your home page.

    Once done you will be able to 'upload a sitemap' which is really just telling Google where it is by putting "sitemap.xml" (or whatever your sitemap is called into the box that Google asks you. Google sets the first part of the URL as your home page by default.

    Again if Wordpress install CBNET Ping Optimizer plug-in and add the ping list found at http://www.instant-info-online.com/w...ping-list.html. This will ping everything for you. If not wordpress then ping manually using same list

    In theory Google will not index your site unless it can find links to it but I have successfully indexed the last few websites doing only the above. I would recommend that you actually add some fast indexing links though I.e social bookmarking. Spend half an hour putting up some links to technocrati, mr wong, redfox or any other social bookmarking sites.

    That's' all there is too it Google will do the rest

    @Tony Marriott :

    That's a really good breakdown. And I agree. Most of the time you don't need to do that much to get your pages indexed. If you link internally to your pages and combine that with an XML sitemap, unless you've got an ENORMOUS site the new page will probably be indexed.

    Don't overthink getting a page indexed, most of the time if you just wait a little while you'll be good.

    Agreed, indexing is easy.

    Just do what Tony said, digg your site. Ping it, easy!
