Is outsourcing back links a smart idea since it is the most time consuming work. Any one knows offshore resources who can do this work?

There are plenty of people who can do this for you. Check out the WSO section for a start.

As to whether or not it's a good idea: well ... it depends! If you can get relevant links, then go for it. For me, irrelevant links are not an attractive proposition irrespective of PR.

It is a MYTH that you need relevant backlinks!! I have over 100 websites on page 1,#1 of Google that proves that that is a myth. I have 0 relevant backlinks.

Don't believe me? Go ask Leslie Rhode of Stompernet and Terry Kyle of Backlinks Hydra and they will verify what I just said. They have done way more extensive testing than I have and have come to the same conclusion.

Just get lots of high PR backlinks and you will rank.

You could go to DP or NP and pay small ammounts, but you never know what you are paying for as many do rip you off.

I would use Contextual Backlinking Plugin for Wordpress for backlinks.

I have always hated the idea of outsourcing my online business, its the thought of someone else taking over the things I have worked hard to create and then doing a bad job of it. The risk that that one person could in fact totally ruin my business forever really scares the hell out of me and thats what can easily happen with outsourcing. For example if you are outsourcing your social media accounts they then have your log in details and can change them all to suit themselves giving you absolutely no power to stop them.

Couldn't agree more... The Philippines is where it is at, good labor for the right price...

Find the right guy and they are worth their weight in gold.

As far as people saying they don't like to outsource their business, that is like saying I never want to hire an employee. With this mentality your business will NEVER grow!

I say outsource and manage. It is not a set it and forget it...

Careful. I did it once for a site. See the video on our website for Request for Reconsideration for a Google Penalty. Won't do that again.

I did looked at the video but it was bit unclear why they got the penalty or what was that the SEO company did wrong or was there something to do with the particular country the seo company was in.

I do not think that it is bad practise to hire somebody to do the SEO for your site, you just have to make sure they do not use any Blackhat methods.

So it would be nice if some senior forum member would recommend some person or a company that they have used for link building and have had good experience with.

Well, Google will never tell you "why". All I said was be careful. It could have been for multiple reasons. The work was done on behalf of an insurance client in Canada. I could speculate and suggest what "relevence" does insurance in Canada have to do from Ukrainian ip addresses? That is one example. 2nd, a bunch of links could have been placed in bad link neighbourhoods, or link farms. Regardless...nothing stuck long term so for the instant gratification, there was no long term gain except a 3-5 month loss of time from being on page one where the client sits now. Just be careful of who does it, and pay for quality work.

So...if I go and put a bunch of links from bad neighborhoods to my competitors then they will suffer? If so, I'm going to be rich.

I personally don't like outsourcing link building efforts, even though it's difficult to do on your own. The only service I've paid for was through SubmitEdge, and they did an exceptional job and performed exactly what I asked for. I don't really trust anyone else with my online properties, as mentioned above.

I will outsource some of my backlinking to a company called Backlink Philippines. They do a great job with high PR forum backlinks. And since you can have up to 5 links in each profile, you can promote 5 of your websites at once -- and it won't cost you extra.

The rest of the backlinking I do myself. Just too complicated for an outsourcer to do or even explain how to do the process to them.

To Answer what you said, if you could Outsource yourself fully, & not have to do any work, & still get paid, & make a Profit, is that worth it?
