How do you optimize a blog article?

Hi
im starting a blog and want my articles to be optimized for specific keywords in my niche.
What would be a good outline for me to follow to make sure its optimized enough?

    If any experts want to correct me, feel free.

    Try to use your target keyword maybe twice every hundred or so words? and Be sure to use a lot of LSI keywords. And make it readable.

    If it's good for the people, it's good for google. I think.

      To start focus on the keyword in the header tag, title, url, alt tag of images, and first line of the article.
