how can i rank on youtube?

Hey warriors, How can i get my videos to rank on youtube? do i need to build backlinks to them or is it all about views. most of the videos in my niche has Zero (0) baclinks pointing to them but alot of views, how can i outrank them?

  • yes you need to build links with your anchor text and also you need that people will embbeded it in their sites.

    also it will help if people will click on the like botton and rate it high.

  • I haven't experience posting my videos to youtube, but this post helps me to understand on how to rank faster in youtube.
  • tag, tag, and more tags to broaden your search terms. I ranked in minutes for "request for reconsideration" just by tagging properly.
  • I also put in my domain name in the title...when you do a search on my domain it comes up of course 1st on google with 2 videos....also keywords in title as well.

    • Umm, no - no it's not, but it's certainly a factor.

      Here are a few tips to keep in mind if you want to rank well in your videos:

      Your title should include the keyword you're aiming to be found for as should your description (put it in there once) and it should be present in your tags. Just once is plenty for each - don't go overboard here.

      You certainly want to focus on quality videos as the ratings people give your videos does factor into how well it ranks within Youtube.

      Building links to your video helps and having it embedded on other websites and viewed does as well.

      Yes, a video that has a lot of views is good and it matters, but it's the only factor, not even close.
