I need to renew the domains of 2 of my Adsense sites -Xfactor style, different look-, but they are performing quite poorly:

Daily Pageview 67
Daily Ads Revenue $0.28

Do I renew them or do I let them die?

What are you suggestions, please?

Thank you

  • if they have made more than the cost of the domain over the year I would keep them

if not sell or let die

    Thanks

  • Assuming worst case scenario (which might be far off):

About $10 for domain name registration
    About $5 months for hosting
means about $70 a year for the site

Hopefully you are getting hosting for much less than that.

    If you're doing .28 a day that's about $102 year.

Even then with worst case you're clearing $30+ annual

The question to ask is what position is it in, how much have you marketed it, and how much effort have you put into growing content? If it's one page make .28, could you make .28 of every page you add? What if you haev 10 pages each make .28

    Something to think about.
  • Doesn't sound too bad to me, especially if it's a niche theme that you could bulk out with more pages.

If you do decide to get rid then let me know - I'd be happy to take it off your hands
  • Daily Pageview 67

Just so i`ve got this right you get about 67 unique pageviews a day ? If so thats something that can be worked with, why are you so desperate to sell or just let go of ?

    • And what would you do to improve it?

      Thank you

  • with 67 daily impressions I'd expect better revenue. Either you CTR is very low, or your CPC is. Either of these could be attributed to poor keyword research - is your traffic coming in for your targeted phrase, is it a 'buying keyword', and are your ads relevant?!
  • I'd keep them and develop them more. With more pages per site you have the potential to get more traffic and therefore earn more money with them.
