  • Good news! I think this is an easy fix. It sounds like you may have missed entering the keyword phrase.

Go to Edit Post - Right under where you enter your text is another section - It says "SEOPRessor Keyword -there is a box by "Enter Main Keyword" - put your keyword phrase there and click Update - Your SEOPressor percentage should change from zero to something else. (Hopefully a high percent!)

Good luck and let us know if that was the problem.

    Peace,

    Roey.

    • Actually that box doesn't appear! The boxes that appear below the text area are only for All in one seo pack and Platinum Seo pack...
      • [1] reply
  • All in one seo a lot of times overrides other plugins. I've had this issue. Try deactivating it and checking your text box then?

    • Tried and SEO Pressor box still doesn't appear this is becoming fustrating!

  • I can't remember the name, but there's a firefox SEO add-on that does the same thing for free to track keyword density. It works too. It also allows you to research how competitive certain keyword phrases are.
  • my wordpress(ver3.0) doesnot has menu for editing/adding H1 - H2 , please see the snapshot below

    • Hi Dear,

  • Their whole premise is that onsite SEO is more important than offsite SEO which is a premise i don't buy into.

XSitePro has similar onsite SEO tools. Makes little difference.

    • Not sure where this assertion comes from.

If you read 'Rank Mover' by Daniel Tan he makes it perfectly clear that good on-page SEO magnifies and complements the effectiveness off-page SEO work.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • Actually the premise from SEOPressor is that on-site sets-up offsite, which is true. If you backlink a site and use anchor text that matches the way the site is optimized, the results will be far superior than if you simply backlink a site where you did not optimize it.

The idea is that this simple plug-in to WP gives you a numeric score and keeps you honest. There may be other ways to handle it, but it's a great tool to make sure you aren't way off on a specific page.

I agree though, that offsite factors outweigh on-site factors if judged independently.
      • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • Did you activate your SEOPressor? If you didn't, that may be a problem. I am using WP 3.0.1 and it works fine there with All in One SEO Pack.
  • David made a good point. Maybe you haven't activated the plugin. You will have to enter the license then the plugin will work. I just installed it today. It works for me. So far, love it.

      Thank you,

  • Hi Daniel and warriors, I install the SEOPressor plugin a few days ago and I have to say honestly that this is the very best investment I have ever made. I wrote an article last night, optimized it with SEOPressor plugin and it is now on page one of google in the #2 spot. You can search for it yourself if you don't believe me, here is the title:
"Article Marketing-What is it exactly" After you verify it's position on google, go to the home page of the website and in the side bar you'll see the article and the date it was submitted next to it. If you want to demo the plugin then submit an article to our directory, use it to optimize your article and then post here the results or leave a comment on the SEOPressor tutorial page. You'll find that link on the home page as well.

    Thanks,
    Tim

    • Tim, that's cool, but I'm not sure what Keyword or Keyword Phrase you're optimizing the article for and what position that you have on Google for that keyword.

      Care to explain?

      Thanks!
    • Not to burst your bubble, but I don't think many people are searching for Article Marketing-What is it exactly.

You definitely don't need a plugin to tell you that you've got your on-page SEO right. And to be honest, SEO is much more about your off page activities as opposed to on-page.

On-page can be gamed rather easily and Google knows this. That is why link popularity is the driving metric behind high rankings.
      • [1] reply
    • Tim,

This really doesn't say much for the effectiveness of Daniel's plugin.

Anyone can rank for "Article Marketing-What is it exactly" without Daniels plugin. Now if you can show me where you rank in for "Article Marketing" and it's ranking high because of SEOpressor, then thats a different story.

This is a good product for novices not familiar with on-site SEO though. And for the mass article publishers it saves maybe 1 min for each article post.

    • I'm don't I understand how you did this using SEOPressor because Ezine doesn't allow a high keyword density that's required to get a higher score in SEOPressor?

Your score in SEOPressor must have been VERY low because your Ezine article doesn't have H1,H2,H3 tags, bold text or underline or internal links, again that are required by SEOPressor to acheive a high score?

Can you tell me just how the SEOPressor helped you get to the top of Google?
      • [1] reply
  • As you well know, ranking high for the keyword phrase "Article Marketing" is a feat in itself. It's going to take a while to rank for that phrase. The point I was trying to make is that without the suggestion the plugin made, the article would be no where to be found in the search engine even with the unusual title I targeted. I know you know-it-alls don't need this plugin.. it's not you I'm trying to help anyway.
    • [1] reply
    • Tim, you misunderstand me. I am not a "know-it-all" at all, but your remarks about the plugin and what you were able to rank for doesn't make sense.

Are you simply stating that the plugin helped your article get indexed? That it shows up in Google for "Article Marketing" somewhere, even on the top 10 pages?

I don't understand what you meant when you said:

If I publish any article online then look for the article title in quotes in Google, it will always show up for me.

I'm just trying to understand the benefits that you feel that received by using the plugin. I'm not trying to be a "know-it-all", I swear.
  • Don't search for it quotes.
  • Okay this time without the quotes, here is an article (Horse Racing System Secrets Revealed) that has been on the internet for over two years. I have never seen it on page one of google for the long tail phrase above even after submitting it to ezine articles. I decided to optimize it with the plugin a few days ago and it is now on page one of google in the #1 position. Again, maybe you know-it-alls don't need this plugin but I think it an excellent tool for the people with less experience.
    • [1] reply
    • Ok. We're not trying to be know it alls. The point being made is this:

Nobody searches for the terms your page is coming up #1 for. So for example, if I make a blog post titled: "Why this plugin perpetuates the idea that on-page SEO is more important than off-page" - and then someone searches for that, of course my post is going to come up first. It's the only post with that title.

This plugin isn't magically helping your rankings is all.

Nobody is trying to be a know-it-all. If anything we are trying to help you understand the concept behind how things rank.

Now, if this plugin somehow helped your article rank for a keyword that actually had search numbers that would be a different story. But the fact is, nobody is searching for Article Marketing - What is it exactly or Horse Racing System Secrets Revealed. So ultimately this plugin didn't do anything but help your page come up for a search that no living human being besides yourself will ever make.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I give up.
  • Okay, your point well taken but the point I was trying to make went right over your heads. I'm not going to keep beating a dead horse.. I have better things to do.
  • yeah the plugin doesn't work properly ,it contain few bags i think!!

    • Hi Tim45,

I did a bit of checking on your positions for your various keywords - as listed in your source code.

You no doubt know this already; however, this is to just illustrate for others:

Four of your keywords are in positions ranging from 41 to 107.

And when I typed in this phrase - horse racing system - your website came up tonight in the number 6 position. All three individual words of that phrase are included in your optimized site title "Horse Racing Betting System Secrets Revealed", and this phrase is also included as one of your keywords in your meta name "keywords" area. This phrase received 12,100 global and 6,600 local searches in the last 30 days. If this is the keyword phrase you were talking about, it no doubt came up in the #1 position initially, and is now bouncing around on page 1. Congratulations!

Since you said that you'd never seen this site rank so high before for any of your keywords - until you used the SEOPressor plugin, it could very well be that internally optimizing your site using SEOPressor is the reason your site is now showing up on page 1 for that keyword phrase. If so, that sounds kinda magical to me. :-)

Although external linking is very important, I've only been using internal SEO optimization methods to get my sites ranked so far, and I'm pretty new to both WordPress and using SEO optimization. Yet I currently have a WordPress site (not the site listed in my signature, which has been neglected for quite some time) - on which I'm currently using the All-In-One SEO plugin - that's been bouncing around between the #1 and #9 position for the last month - for a 3-word keyword phrase that has received 2,900 global and 2,600 local searches in the last 30 days - and yet I currently have no external links pointing to this site.

I know I will definitely need to obtain some external links for my sites if I really want to take advantage of all possible means to improve their rankings. But apparently, as in my case - at least for this one site of mine - it seems it is possible to rank pretty well for some popular keyword phrases using just internal SEO optimization efforts. And SEOPressor could very well help in this regard, especially on sites that are having some trouble climbing up from search results past page 1.

So, I think I'm going to go ahead and get SEOPressor: 1. It will remind me to do the best I can with internal SEO optimization, and remind me for every page and post what to do, 2. It looks like fun, and 3. It might very well help improve rankings.

Anyway, congrats on finally achieving your first page ranking for what looks like a pretty popular keyword phrase!

      Karen

  • Hey, I switched from SEOScripe to SEOPressor. It's a great tool and it really does offer so much. I wrote a review about it on my blog SEO Pressor Review | sambakker.com If you're thinking about getting it I would totally encourage you do. Daniel Tan the creater really knows his stuff about SEO and I have found that the improvements I have made from using the tool really have improved my rankings.

    • My bad. lol

I see that I made a mistake and accidentally (and inexplicably) added the word "betting" to Tim's phrase, which then led me to a site that isn't his. It would help if I could see straight, but I think I have a tiny excuse - I was a bit blurry eyed while writing my post as it was somewhere around 3 am when I wrote it. What I was doing up at that time is beyond me.

Anyway, because of that mistake, the site that I thought was his - www dot pfedge dot com - was not his. That site ranks near the top of page 1 for the phrase (without quotes) "horse racing system" . So "Way To Go!" owner of that site, although I'm sure the great ranking for that highly trafficked keyword probably was not the result of using SEOPressor.

In any case, I do see, using the Google Keyword tool, that there's no traffic expressly for the phrase "Horse Racing System Secrets Revealed", with or without quotes. Although I don't know what specific keywords Tim is actually striving to rank for, it sounds like he's noticed that SEOPressor has pushed his rankings up for them.

As for his mention of the article being two years old, even though his site is not even one year old: Maybe on Sept. 21st he copied his article from somewhere else on the web where he had previously published it, onto his articleinformation dot com site, and then did the experiment with SEOPressor from there.

As far as the site of mine that I referred to, it bounces around on page one between positions 1 and 4 for the phrase (without quotes) "tooth fairy costumes" - with, so far, no external links. I do plan on trying to obtain external links when I have some time to devote to that task.

As for buying SEOPressor, I'll need just a bit more research, but I think it will be worth it for the reasons I pointed out above.

  • If you’re trying to optimize a Wordpress blog, I don’t see a reason why you shouldn’t buy SEOPressor. The price is really cheap for the value that you will get.
On the other hand, if you have other web properties that are using other platforms like Joomla or Drupal, you might be better off with Scribe SEO.
    • [1] reply
    • Exactly, SEOPressor is a very good tool for on-page optimization. We are powering more than 24 million wordpress pages/posts now and their results have been amazing. Ranks got solidified and new pages ranks better and faster, plus overall increase in traffic, these are all the results.

For Drupal and Joomla, we are porting. We are also porting to support all languages, so yes, solid development team is behind SEOPressor and you can assure yourself you are getting the best from the great.

  • No, I am Using The all in one SEO pack, Automatically optimizes your WordPress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Actually I am a new to this seo can you explain me what is a plugin how to use it
  • How effective can a plugin like this be for someone into autoblogging where 10-20 posts are being made daily on multiple blogs. Is Pressor something that needs to be maintained or used on a post by post basis?
    • [1] reply
    • SEOPressor doesn't do the optimization automatically, like you're thinking for an auto blog. You have to use it manually.

Of course, there is a way around this, but don't think that SEOPressor is going to do anything for you if you're just scraping content from sites to post to your auto blog.
  • Which would defeat the entire premise of saving time with volumes of auto blogs. As I thought...
    Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • Yeah, it basically has to be used on a per post basis.
  • The site's demo video claims it can work on autoblogs as well ?
Is this NOT true? Can anyone comment who has this plugin?

Will the plugin auto-optimize auto-posted content?

    Thanks
  • I have been purchasing a lot of tools in recent weeks to improve my site, thomascrotty.com. One of these I bought two days ago was , SEOPressor for wordpress by Daniel Tan. Not wanting to spend to much time at SEO, I wanted something simple and easy to use and that is what I got in SEOPressor

The instructions provided by SEOPressor are easy to follow and the scoring system encouraging. I am so happy with this product that it is the first to earn a place on my recommended tools page thomascrotty.com/marketing-tools/seopressor/

    Well done to Daniel Tan
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • Agreed. I use SEOpressor with all of my new article pages.
It seems like I'm always too lazy to add the image with alt, though, but the plug-in helps.

      Brian
  • Using SEOpressor saves a lot of your time and it helps you to write more content instead of wasting your time to check the factors of pages you made. But you should follow the instructions of SEOpressor and in this case this plugin helps you. If you do what ever you want without using its instructions, it can't help you.

  • I purchased the single license and kicked myself in the butt after I decided to upgrade, should had just purchased the unlimited version from the get. I love the plugin it helps a lot to get a good idea of your keyword density. On site optimization isn't the most important thing but it can mean the difference of ranking higher than the competition for your keyword. It certainly does not hurt!

    Great plugin.
  • Wow, 2nd post I've seen for this plugin today. Yes it sounds like you just need to enter the keywords in. I learnt some great tips from this plugin.
    • [1] reply
    • wowowo This is a great Plug in, I edited my first post, now its on 87,77%. I guess this is a good as score. As I don't have any Image inside my post. But this rel=nofollow. does somehow not work at all.

Can you do this rel=nofollow as well to your affiliate link??

But again a really great Plugin!!!

So obviously 100% is the best score, but you can't achieve it all the time. Sometimes you don't have pictures inside your post. So there is already something missing, another thing somehow this ref=nofollow is not working for me. And I don't know why its not working.

So after all of this most of my scores are between 84% and 87% I guess this is kind of good score.

Or do I see something wrong??
  • Does anyone know if there is a quality SEOPressor for Joomla? Thank you so much!
  • The score is zero because it is highly probable that you didn't enter the keyword for that particular post/page. How can it give a score without knowing what to measure?
