Same Links to Same Content

Lets say I have one article and build 10 profile links to it to pass some juice and get some backlinks.

Would building 10 more backlinks to the same place still have the same effect or once you get a backlink from that place once, you should get it from somewhere else... kidna thing?

would link juice be passed for the second time around?

Would I get that backlinks counted for the second time around... or?

  • The standard SEO recommendation is to get back links from a variety of top level domains.

    So if you can get back links from 10 unique websites that will provide more benefit. Just make sure your backlinks are followed since a lot of website profile links don't nofollowed these days.

    • I wouldn't say that it would have zero value.

      But, it would benefit you more to seek out additional top level domains. Plus it's easy to make a list of profile links to build out. You can find a great big list of do-follow profile links that a fellow Warrior Forum member posted here: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...-profiles.html
  • this is interesting- i was wondering the same as i recently started with forum postings. I know most blogs are no follow but I thought posting several times on high pr forums will bring me valuable links and good serps. Now I will try to get links from a variety of sources too. Thanks for throwing some light on this topic.
