Indexing issue

hi there everyone another probably stupid question from mrshades.. though i have many websites ranked pretty and a few number 1's in low comp area's i am having an issue getting one page of one of the sites indexed... i started a blog on the site and all the blog pages got indexed almost right away with some rss work i did. the sales page it self though did not get index... i shot a few links from a pr 3 and 4 site along with links from a few top article directories and UAW but for some reason it still has not been indexed. All content is unique but im using a template i used for another site could that be why its not being found? the other site is found though..... hope this is enough info for someone to at least have an idea.... about 20 links sent to the site 17 with anchor text

    Did you check some of the staging servers? You could check the Google Dance tool to see if it's in any of the other indexes...

    it has not been found in yahoo or aol either.... its being moved to a new domain i think but the url is Fat Burning Diets

    some of the other pages have been found but im re doing the whole thing so all was delete except that page and like one entry till i re do everything

        thanks for the quick responce... i made that other page /FatBurningDiets a long time ago and put up fat-burning-diets a day ago and its indexed?

        as i said i am re doing the whole website but why would it get indexed in a day but the other one not get indexed before? thanks for all your help already

      Welcome to Google Caffeine: things are getting indexed lightning-fast! But the earlier page was never indexed at all? I dug a bit deeper and it seems to be an orphan page: on a quick look, I can't see where it is linked from on the site. So that is a very likely reason that it's not indexed. Pages that are linked directly from the home page get indexed the fastest, and pages that are not linked from anywhere don't get indexed at all.

        i actually was thinking that to im thinking of making it the homepage and then having the blog under the blog section and cleaning up the content and checking it through copyscape.... is that a step in the right direction then?
