For your info google and yahoo nver show all backlinks.

Just build & forget. All you have to do is keep building more links everyday - dont waste time checking!

yes i have pinged them twice, and its been created more than 2 weeks now.

i ll ping them again and lets see wts gonna happen, i think page rankings will get better only if search engine index your back links .?

Sometime Google does not show the correct number of backlinks. So, no need to worry. They will take some time but you should not stop making quality backlinks.

The most important thing is to keep building back links and move forward at all times. What I like to do once I get a back link is ping the back link at pingler and then submit a story at propeller and then ping the link for the story. It might be over kill, but it works good for me.

It takes some time for google to index backlinks.

or u can check on wikipedia ... write backlink and u get the answer

btw for me google didnt indexed but i made it to 1/10 page rank in 1-2 month .... i think was faster lets say 1month since last pr check and this only with backlinks auto submit sites free

tho i checked to see all the backlinks i made and submited and didnt found only the 4-5 at beghining of submiting the site

Ah, the weekly "I waste my time checking if my links are indexed" thread. If they get indexed, they get indexed, and even if they are Google will not always tell you. So spend that precious time building more links rather than panicking about if they are being indexed.

@camm thanks for the pingler tip. I had been using Ping-o-matic and pingler hits that service plus a bunch of others.

I also agree, Propeller and Digg are the two best bookmarking sites. But Digg does not like every page of your blog getting "dugg", they will ban your URL!

You will never see all your back links. Don't even think about it. Try yahoo site explorer for the periodic snapshot. Besides the list you keep for yourself, this may be the next best option.

I have sent an article to ezinearticles.com on 05/14/2010 and till today there is no trace of the backlink , how can you explain that?

Make sure to keep it natural . Dont go to one forum and make hundreds of backlinks, spread your backlinks out and over time you will see results.

since i dont want to make another thread i will ask it here.

Im curious if anyone can tell me. When a backlink is created and then it is eventually indexed by google/yahoo, does that mean it counts? Even if it doesn't show up in the typical backlink checkers after a month? (yahoo site explorer and such)

Yeah 50 links are ok to ping in 24 hours, but over limit push your site to Sandbox!

I have been sandboxed. Slow but sure is the best way. Stop wasting time to see if every little link has been indexed. Have some faith...it works.

Google would certainly track the manner in which the backlinks are procured. If the manner looks good for them, then they may approve of the back links, otherwise they would penalize the site.

Google crawls pages according to their page rank,so high PR pages are crawled more frequently than low PR pages.But you can index your site by using RSS submissions & ping,also bookmark those link pages are helpful in indexing.

The search engines don't pick everything up. They can take a few weeks. Give them time. I would not worry about the numbers, I would just keep advertising and link building, make sure they aren't spammy links, and gradually you will see your site rise up.
