I want to know how to effectively go about web 2.0 link building..suppose i have a site on web hosting and i creat a blog on wordpress.com and post an article pointing to my site..then what??

Should I post my 2nd(3rd, 4th and so forth) article in the same blog?? that will make the G suspicious right?? should I create another blog and post the 2nd article there?? Its too tedious and spammy creating one page blogs with links to a site..

I am confused, please help..

If you mean something like social bookmarking, I don't see why Google would think it suspicious that you bookmark multiple posts within the same blog. Could be that they're all great articles, right?

Basically, the premise is to build links from multiple web 2.0 properties to keep the I.P.'s varied. Google does not get suspicious if you have 10 links coming from the same Wordpress blog; however, and don't quote me on this, many people believe that multiple links from the same I.P. source tend to become devalued; so it is better to diversify.

On blogging platforms such as wordpress and blogger, the route I take is to write 8 unique and relevant posts per blog, and have a few random links going to my site and internal pages within the site.

Then I will typically write unique and relevant articles on 10 of my favorite web 2.0's linking to the same site.

After finishing my web 2.0's, I then use article directories for back links to my sites as well as to build some juice to the web 2.0's I just created.

This is a simple back linking structure that is tedious, but effective; at least for me. I enjoy writing content so I do not have a problem with it.

I think you use quite effective way for backlinks and it can be very effective and the same time good link building technique.

This is very efficient way and no doubt quite helpful.

Doing something similar, but since I do not enjoy writing, I end up having to outsource the bulk of it. Hopefully, when I net everything out in the end, I come out profitable.

Thats true! That can be Suspicious

You need to search out other blog domains that must have unique IP's.

    1. Create your money pages on your website(reviews).
    2. Write articles with links to only your money pages.
    3. submit your article profile RSS to as many RSS dirs
    4. Social bookmark your articles.
    5. Add your articles to other web 2.0 sites like Squidoo and hub pages
    6. Social bookmark those pages.

You can do other things like videos, blog comments, yahoo answers and so on.
Where ever you can get a free link, get it. Do good keyword research or you could waste a lot of time doing this.

Results? Traffic from articles, social bookmarking(if the audience likes what your saying) and web 2.0 properties.

Results will also vary depending on niche, audience, how you've targeted your audience, how well you've written your articles and sales pages.

    Good luck.

You can create a blog and write good posts in it which are unique and have some value...adding a link back to your site from these posts won't hurt your site.

Use onlywire or socialmarker to get some social bookmarks. Takes some effort signing up for everything at first, but well worth in the end

You can also digg your blog post, submit your page to stumbleupon, social bookmark it, run it through to your twitter followers or facebook friends...and any other method of promotion you can think of...
