Suppose I'm having a site example.com and if I want to find out where my site ranks for the keyword "example". Is there any method to find our Keywords SERPs Ranking in Google without using any paid options like Market Samurai ?

I've tried some web-based tools but they are pathetic since they will only show whether your site is in the first page of Google for the targeted keyword.

I think you must go with manual ranking for keywords...because tools are not fetching the real time data...

There is a nice tool from SEO book called rank checker. It will tell you an approximate position of your website for targeting keyword.

If you go for manual search, it will lead you to crazy. First try to find an approximate keyword position using keyword rank checkers and then find accurate position using this approximate position.

DigitalPoint has a tool, but it only checks the top 20 results in Google. And you have to have a host where you can install a PHP script for it to work.

Web Ceo and IBP are the good tools to check ranking. Also rank check gives ranking of site but it will be near about. So, check your site ranking manually.

checkout your google webmaster console and see how far off google is. Its usually 2-3 pages offset.

If google cant get it right then other programs will aswell.

But hey beats manually doing it...... with a minor offset

I think ckeck it manually .. because some times tools are not using the real time data,, and not giving correct position of your keywords .

You can use tools like rank checker ,it will give you approx position of your keyword, then you can find exact position manually,, then it will be less time consuming..
