Hello everyone,

I have a website for a while but it needs a renovation so i am thinking in building a new one. The problem is that this site has some pages in the first page of google. Is there a way to tell search engines that my pages will be in the new site. And if this is possible, will this hurt my rankings?

Thanks in advance

If you haven't done much work to get the pages ranking I would just move them over to the new site and delete them off of the old one. I would also redirect the domain to the new one. I'd not over think it. I feel search engines understand things like this happen.

I think redirection will not affect as much...also check out this option is available in webmaster tools...

Just rehab the site on the same domain and don't change your permalink (page url) structure.

I will change the site structure so most pages will have different urls.

I have attached a print screen of my account in hostgator. Is it here that we redirect? So all i do is put the old page on the first firld and the new one on the second field?

Doing this, will the links that i already have flow to the new pages?

    Thank you
