any comments regarding the PR update today? ... from N/A - PR0 , PR5-PR5, PR2-PR3 .. how about your site/blog? any changes?

  • All my sites went from n/a to 0. I was hoping for a little more from my site that has about 1200 backlinks.
  • I live right next to google and I don't see any changes here, but I did see someone post about a grey bar on WMW. It is about time we saw something so I hope this is it at last. I'm seeing a huge jump in traffic to my site today from google.

    • Hey, that's cool. You can keep an eye on search queries in Webmaster tools for todays date and see if it was more organic search traffic as a result of where you were showing up in the SERPs. Find the keyword you jumped up on and try to keep it up. After all, it is about the rankings and not really the PR!

  • I also see the updates for my websites. For some new sites I am having PR2. For some old sites getting bit higher PR. Its definately google updates.

    • I wouldnt really worry about PR unless you know that the competition is targeting specific keywords.

  • Haven't noticed any change. Some sources reporting that it's just a minor update, with only a small number of site's PR changing?

    • I agree that no one knows for sure exactly when it happens, but as far as I was concerned it takes place every three months.

      I was under the impression it is due to happen by the end of this month and published in the beginning of Oct. Is this right? I can remember that the last update happened at the end of June and was published the first week of July. This means that the next update SHOULD happen by the end of this month. Of course, since no one really knows for sure, Google can change the rules of the game. After all, it is their company and they can do whatever they want. :rolleyes:
