How to eliminate certain types of Adsense ads?

I have a few blogs up on political themes. I want to eliminate the negative ads that seem to be feeding through on the topic of Obama.

Before the election, my blog seemed to be making more from the Republican ads trying to smear him than the democratic one trying to promote him.

This happened even though my blog was slanted toward Obama.

Now I have one that I want to focus on news about the first family and I am still having the same problem, ads suggesting that Obama bought the election.

How do I keep the keyword terms, but eliminate the negative ones?

i beleive you can filter ads in your account by advertiser, i have never done it though. I the negative ones are making you money why would you want to block them?

  Yes, you can block certain advertisers within your AdSense account. But it is a never ending process and simply doesn't work well if you are trying to block just a topic.

Thanks for your replies.
That was what I was wondering, if you have to block each one, or could block certain themes.

I didn't mind making money off of McCain's ads during the election, but since this blog is fairly new, I didn't want to turn off new readers with the negative Obama ads now that he is actually president-elect.

It blows me away when I do research how many people are still posting and promoting really negative and awful stuff.

So basically what I need to do is write down and list the urls of the ads I don't like and put them in my block list, then?
