Adsense on a photo website

Hello.

I have a rather large photo website, with mostly travel photos. Just photos and some descripion like Place, City, Exif etc.

When viewing each thumnail pages, you can click and a popup with the full size photo and some description comes up.

How safe is to put adsense on top and bottom of the page, above and below the photo ?

I have see many sites to do it, but since i have some other good websites in my account, i don't want to risk anything.

      Yes i understand what you say. The more pages, the better. I have an option to disable the pop up and present a page. Also from what i checked, google does index the popup page but clicking to it from google, goes to an empty page (dynamic aspx).

      So disabling the pop up, index me better. I will have to check all that. Pop up is more slick, using lighbox but ... hey ... we only care for clicks don't we ??
