I've PR 3 in my blog and I'm ready to do my best to get 4 up to 5 PR next 3 months, the question is how to do that, any specific and better idea can help me?

    I never try to buy or sell backlinks, I think I've to Diversification my backlinks methods, especially I've all tools to do better work!
    I'm looking for new or smart way to build links,

      It would probably do wonders if you reached out to other leading industry bloggers and offered them advice, killer articles, and props! The point of that is to try to get to know them.

      Go through your competitors too and see if you can get what they have.

    I would suggest that you continue working on building high quality, relevant backlinks to your site, and you will ultimately outrank the competition. After all, its your rank thats most important, not your PR.

      .gov and .edu backlinks have NOTHING to do with it. Matt Cutts himself has said MANY times that they give no special treatment to .gov or .edu, or .anything for that matter. It's all about the content. It is true that "most" .gov and .edu sites have good rankings, but that's due to the unique content and backlinks that they receive, it has nothing to do with the fact that they are just a .gov or .edu.

      You should visit the webmaster central youtube channel and check out some videos.

    Its logarithmic... you essentially need to have 3 times the links of a PR3 to get a PR4 and 4 times a PR4 to be a PR5.

      This is absolutely untrue. I do lots of research on web positions and daily I see websites with fewer than 100 links getting a PR4 while some websites with 18,000 links (literally) are at PR2.

    i've also heard that gov and edu are good for backlinks, also what "millerb7" said might be true, yet i think that these links bring on juice because they have higher page rank and not so many pages (aka contents), therefore the mojo is all in one place ... see my point?
